Refer a new teacher to travel and reap the rewards!

You know the power that educational student travel has on students—here's your chance to spread that impact to even more students at your school and in neighboring schools throughout your area. When you refer a new teacher to travel with WorldStrides, not only are you helping make an impact on more students, you'll receive the following great rewards:

  • 25 Rewards Points for each valid referral you submit
  • 250 Rewards Points when a referral starts their trip promotion
  • 500 Rewards Points when a referral gets their first 5 students signed up for their trip

Bonus: To help make travel possible, your referrals will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use toward their first WorldStrides Travel Program.

Tips for Referring Like a Pro

Speak with each referral (whether another educator or an individual student) before passing their name along to us. It's super important that your referrals hear your own personal stories!

  • Tell each referral how much you love traveling with WorldStrides
  • Convey how fun and inspiring your trips are for your students
  • Let them know how easy WorldStrides makes it to travel
  • And, most importantly, let them know we'll be reaching out to help them get started

What Happens with Your Teacher Referrals

When you pass along the name of another teacher to lead a travel program, we'll assign them to one of our Travel Specialists who will reach out to those referrals by phone. Our specialists will let your referral know that you provided their information to WorldStrides and then help that teacher get a travel program started in their school. A Travel Specialist will be sure to share the great news that your referrals will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use toward their first WorldStrides trip.

What Makes a Great Teacher Referral

Here are a few things to keep in mind when introducing new teachers to educational travel:

Think Like You: The best teachers to lead travel programs are just like you—passionate, energetic, and well-liked by their students and peers. Teachers who travel on their own or with their friends and family make great candidates to lead travel programs for their students, too.

Branch Out: Think outside your school. Since you already have a program at your school, you'll want to think of an educator at a neighboring school in your community. Don't limit yourself to teachers in just one field! WorldStrides has programs available for all types of teachers:
